Jim M. Goldstein wrote a great reminder article over at Digital Photography School about 5 questions to ask yourself before tripping the shutter. Think of it as a mental check list to run through your head.
Our friend Brian Auer at Epic Edits Weblog posted a good article earlier this week on why you should use photoshop actions to save time. It’s a good reminder and I love his example. I’ll be creating one for the Flickr aspects myself over the weekend, I should have done this long ago.
The featured photoblog of the week goes to delviv8 over at photoblog.com. HDR is the new fad in digital photography right now and I usually don’t care too much for most of the images coming out of this genre. That being said, HDR can look stunning when done properly. This is one of those artists who gets it done right. His selection of HDR images is well thought out, wonderfully composed and technically sound. Check them out.

“HDR is the new fad in digital photography” actually only the tonemapping part is. The future of imaging is in the .hdr and .exr formats.
