This week’s “Featured Photoblog” is The Way I See It by Gareth Glynn Ash. Gareth has a great sense for telling stories through his photographs and lets his personality come through in the text as well. Some of my favorite lines in the blog come about when he photographs a flower and says “I don’t know what these are (hell, I don’t know what most flowers are called), but I do, indeed, like th em.” That’s kinda how I am when I photograph flowers.

A Photo Editor has released a new website design company for photographers and I’m pretty excited about this. Head over to A Photo Folio to check out these really stunning website folios. I’ll be getting one shortly.

If you love still life photography or are interested in learning about it then head over to Shutterbug Source Photography Tips where Barbara teaches you why and how to start doing Still-Life Photography. It’s a good lesson to learn, especially if you’re one of the many who are interested in selling your photos someday.
While this may not be necessarily related directly to photography, I thought it was worth passing on. I found this post about a dog named Paris that was touching and sad. I had to give up one of my dogs when we had our first kiddo and I still feel guilt about it. If you love dogs then you have to read the post. Thanks to Cara at Ground Glass for sharing.
Of course we here at Your Photo Tips love Flickr. It acts as both a housing for a forum and image pool for our readers to generously share their tips and pics for everybody. But we’re not the only ones who love Flickr. If you love Flickr as much as we do, then head on over to Photojojo’s Flickr tool mashup to find all the tools you’ll need to get a better experience while you Flickr!
