This week’s “Featured Photoblog” is Visual Realia by Andy Smith in Hanover, PA.
Andy’s work spans many different genres and techniques. The site is simple, clean, and loaded (I mean loaded!) with content. You can literally spend hours going through the site and probably not see every single image. I couldn’t say the same for mine. Andy does sell his work so if you find something you like you should, I don’t know, maybe buy some art! This is the website of a photographer who is passionate and talented so it’s something to subscribe to.
In Photography News:
In case you missed it on the hundreds of other blogs and websites Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 came out earlier this week. I could point you to any number of those sites, but I’m gonna go with my favorite authority when it comes to Adobe and that would be Introducing Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 by Frederick Van (he actually works for Adobe).
Over at Shoot The Blog (Photoshelter’s blog) Rachel somehow came across a new camera technology that you’ll have to read about to believe. Great, now our images will be stolen as soon as we upload them, thanks.
In Photoblogosphere News:
Vincent Laforet has been outed! In case you don’t know who Vincent Laforet is he was named one of the 100 most influential people in photography back in 2005 by a magazine you may have heard of American Photo. Now that’s credentials. I’d be happy if they even knew my name as a subscriber to the mag! Anyhow, Vincent’s new blog is out and if you’re serious about photography in any way I suggest you head over there and subscribe. You will no doubtingly learn something from this man.
In Your Photo Tips news:
