I’m really enjoying the voting system set in place for the photography book club. It’s really helping to shape the direction of this website by getting a good glimpse of the types of things you want to learn about photography.

Understanding Composition: The Complete Photographer
This month’s Photography Book Club selection is Understanding Composition: The Complete Photographer’s Guide by Steve Mulligan.
If you wish to participate in the photography book club, all you have to do is get the book and review it. Send me a review of any size to damien[at]yourphototips.com or review it on your own blog and send me the link. I’ll add it to the photography book club page!
As this is the end of the year I’ve decided to have a “second chance vote” for the next book. I’ve pulled all of the information from the past polls and pulled out the books with the most votes that didn’t win. We’ll probably do this every few months just to make sure we give everyone and every book a chance to participate. So if the book you’ve voted for in the past didn’t win, now’s your chance to get your voice heard!
Voting for the next book to be reviewed is in the sidebar stage right so if you’re reading this in a reader you’ll have to click though to the website.
Also, if you have a particular book you’d like to see in a future vote, leave it in the comments and I’ll add it to the list.
Update:
The book has been changed to Practical Artistry: Light & Exposure for Digital Photographers because the original book was not actually available.

Sounds like a great book. I love pictures but never really explorored photography to it’s professional lengths. If I do come across a photo book I think that you’ll like, then I’ll let you know about it.
