Where Would You Go On a Photography Vacation?

We’re going to open up a reader question to the community because I don’t travel as much as I’d like and didn’t have a paritcularly great answer for her.

I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I just recently fell into some money and am in need of a good vacation. I love photography and thought I could go somewhere to take great pictures. I prefer something on the warmer side but am open to suggestions.

I thought the question was a little open ended so I asked for a little more info. After some back and forth emailing let’s just say that you can totally use your imagination. I told Lesley I’d be opening it up to you guys so get creative. Money is rather abundant so feel free to go a little crazy, just not too insane.

Basically, if you could go on vacation with photography in mind and you had a rather large budget, where would you go and why?

And no, Lesley isn’t willing to take anyone with her…I already asked.
