David Bowie
So I was pleasantly surprised to find this image of David Bowie by Clive Arrowsmith for sale at DiscoveredArtists. This beautiful black and white print is currently on sale for $3000 as a 17×14 print and I’m totally in love with it. Just need more cash…
In the Photoblogosphere
Strobist has a great profile of Dustin Diaz who is tackling a 365 project with flash completed by providing lighting diagrams. Way cool.
Speaking of photographer profiles; Heather Morton has a profile on photographer Derek Shapton which would be a good read for those of you looking into stock or microstock photography.
As if that wasn’t enough Frederick Van has an interview with Joseph Linaschke.

If the Weekend Perusing section seems lacking, or missing (sorry about last week), then you can always refer to Photo Notes: Photography Links provided by Patty Hankins and Bill Lawrence and always informative.

I was fortunate enough to get an early, signed, copy of Ignore Everybody: and 39 Other Keys to Creativity by Hugh MacLeod of GapingVoid and absolutely love, love, love the book. Perhaps a review is in order (even though it’s not about photography, it’s important for all creatives). Hugh is offering select prints from some of the art in the book and it’s limited on time and volume. Head there now. Seriously.
