Night Palms

I’m not sure what exactly it is about Night Palms by storyteller Melanie Heinrich. It’s the color, the composition, but mostly the movement of the image I think. You can get a 32×21.1 on canvas for only $129! Seriously.

In the Photography Podosphere

Our good friend Rob Nunn has hit a milestone with his podcast Subject Composition and Light. If you aren’t already subscribed you can head on over to his website, listen to his latest podcast, and enter his giveaway for a chance to win some photo gear. I’ve got my eye on a rangefinder. I’m just saying…

Looking to step up and buy your first DSLR? The fine folks at LightChasers have a great tutorial on buying your first DSLR.

There’s a great collection of images over at Traveling Tribe from Spain. I’ve always wanted to visit Spain. Oh yeah…there’s always a great collection of pictures there so I suggest you subscribe to the feed.

Speaking of great photography…Mountain Photographer has a stunning image of a lake at night? I’m just guessing it’s at night, either way, it’s beautiful.

Here’s a reminder on why you should keep focused on those longer term projects. I love the guys at We Can Shoot Too.

Great interview at Ground Glass with Darius Himes the head judge of Blurb’s book contest. Good insight into a contest judges head.

Over at Photoprenuer we learn that you can, in fact, teach an old dog new tricks. It’s how magic happens. Really.

Photo-fashion?

Graphic artist Reece Ward has a pretty cool iconic T-Shirt for photographers.  I’m tempted to get one.
