My first exposure to a digital SLR was the Canon E300D. The trusty old girl has served well, and it is gratifying to see the latest offering from Canon yet again looking like something I would like to acquire. Any excuse to upgrade! LOL!

I wish Canon would follow Nikon's lead with their body lineup, which would mean putting good AF in the 5DII and making the 1D full-frame with APS-C and APS-H crops in-camera.

Since I use digicams for clicking pictures,so according to me this seems like a wonderful camera.

But after reading the post and the detailed review I have a clear idea that it is not suitable for every focal length.

The crop sensor is a real shame, it makes all the focal lengths (especially zooms) really awkward. I wish Canon would follow Nikon's lead with their body lineup, which would mean putting good AF in the 5DII and making the 1D full-frame with APS-C and APS-H crops in-camera.
