  • Birds in general make for great photographs, but you have to be patient to get the best shots. My dad has an obsession with bird photography and he still ends up with a lot of shots of an empty branch where the bird sat 2 seconds before.
  • I could make something like this in about 1 hour or less in advanced 3d using micrographix simply 3d3 if I still had my other computer working. well maybe in a month.
  • impressive.. congrats!
  • It never amazes me how birds are able to fly in those large flocks and still almost know which way each one is going to go next. It's like a well trained pack of fighter planes in formation. Great photo. Perfect demonstration of nature's symmetry.

    Till then,

  • Yes it makes you wonder if birds have some type of sixth sense. Birds are often thought of as unintelligent creatures, but they obviously have some impressive instincts.
  • Very nice photos ... I like pictures of birds .. It represents freedom.
  • Awesome photo of wings. Good photo capture.
  • Yes I'm sure those ducks were quite loud taking off all at once. Did you have to wait around for the ducks to take off or did you get the help of a big rock or a loud dog?
  • Amazing! it is very hard to achieve this level of quality with fast-moving subjects. You have to anticipate so much, and your guesses have to be right. No time for finite adjustments, and no do-overs.
  • Beautiful photo! I love bird images. I'll have to check out his site!

Thank you for featuring me here, Damien!!! It was a fun photo to take. Quite impressive to hear all those wing beats at once.
  • Well deserved Scott. Great composition plus great timing = great photograph!

Sometimes, in photography as well as life, timing can be everything.
